In more medical design news, the Des Moines Register reports on how design is being used to save lives at Iowa’s Mercy Medical Center-West Lakes Hospital, following “three years of design, discussion and research…. Mercy officials spoke with staff members and patients in addition to visiting sites throughout the country as part of a planning process focusing on ‘evidence-based design.’”

Peter’s tech diary: Moving from Mercurial to Subversion

Somehow all the world seems to move Subversion repositories into Mercurial but not the other way around.
In many ways I understand that, but I had to move my own little project stored in a local Mercurial repository onto the official infrastructure, which happens to use Subversion. That cost me first some time searching for a migration solution and then hacking one myself.
